Plots
Submission Rules
Read the following rules before submitting a plot. Incomplete submissions will be returned without review.
- Plots must be submitted alongside a +request or +job on the MUSH. Do not submit the wiki page without the accompanying server request.
- Submissions must include: a full log posted to the wiki (linked from this page), a full list of players involved, rewards requested, and a short summary of the plot.
- Please keep adult content out of plot logs. This is not explicitly banned but keep it limited and clearly marked if present.
- If a plot is intended to be notably dangerous, player consent is required in advance, including the possibility of character death.
- Any long-term injuries or Humanity Loss incurred must be listed in the submission.
- If gear is being requested, note it on the MUSH request, not on the wiki page.
- Any plot awarding more than 50 IP or 2,000eb must be approved by staff BEFORE the run is submitted or run. Contact staff via +request to discuss before scheduling.
Reward Structure
Rewards are calculated by staff based on the difficulty of the plot. The five difficulty tiers and their associated rewards are listed below.
Equipment rewards are valued at double the normal monetary reward of the run for the purposes of acquiring specific requested gear. For example: a Typical run that would pay 750eb counts as 1,500eb toward a specific gear request. Gear requests must make narrative sense within the context of the plot and are subject to staff discretion.
Equipment reward value can be banked across a series of related plots for large purchases such as vehicles, expensive cyberware, or real estate. All plots in a series must be thematically related and approved as a series by staff.
| Difficulty | IP Reward | Eddy Reward | Gear Value | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Easy | 10 IP | 500eb | 1,000eb | Low stakes. Minimal danger, simple objectives, limited opposition. |
| Typical | 20 IP | 750eb | 1,500eb | Standard Night City work. Moderate risk, some combat or social pressure expected. |
| Difficult | 30 IP | 1,250eb | 2,500eb | Serious opposition. Corporate involvement, gang conflict, or high-stakes infiltration. |
| Dangerous | 40 IP | 1,750eb | 3,500eb | High lethality. Player consent required. Significant risk of lasting consequences. |
| Legendary | 50 IP | 2,000eb | 4,000eb | Career-defining. Major faction or megacorp opposition. Death, permanent injury, or Cyberpsychosis are real possibilities. |
STAFF APPROVAL REQUIRED: Any plot that would award more than 50 IP or 2,000eb must be discussed with and approved by staff BEFORE it is run or submitted. Contact staff via +request with a summary of the plot and expected difficulty rating.
