Muirgen Finney

Muirgen Finney is a Solo and bare-knuckle boxer from Connemara, County Galway. Her career brought her from Dublin to Pacifica when someone in Night City bought her contract. She arrived with years of professional fighting behind her and a city still to get to know.

Appearance

At around five foot four, Muirgen is broad-shouldered and strongly built, with firm arms, strong thighs and a soft, full hourglass figure. Tight ginger curls fall below her shoulder blades. Dense freckles cover her pale skin, darkest across her cheeks and nose.

Features & Style

She has blue-gray eyes, high, rounded cheekbones, a narrow jaw, small chin and full lips, with dark eyeliner, teal eyeshadow and glossy red lipstick. A small green water lily sits below her collarbones. Green tops and blue denim recur in her wardrobe, along with practical boots and a leather jacket.

In the Ring

Muirgen fights with natural strength; a basic Neuroport is her only chrome. In her first Night City fight, she faced a heavily augmented Maelstrom opponent: seven foot six and a mountain of muscle. She won easily.

Connemara

Muirgen spent her first fourteen years on her family's farm in Connemara, part of a living-history exhibit in County Galway. A few months after her fourteenth birthday, the farm caught fire. Investigators found no evidence of foul play, but Muirgen is certain the mayor's son, Colin, was responsible. She had rejected his advances at a party only days earlier, and he had taken it badly.

Dublin

The fire forced her family into tenement housing in Dublin. Leaving the farm meant adapting quickly to a way of life some two hundred years more technologically advanced. School was difficult; no subject came particularly easily, and she soon concluded that college was out of reach. Wrestling and boxing suited her better, although she repeatedly got into trouble for taking bouts too far.

The Circuit

A local bare-knuckle boxing crew noticed her and signed her as soon as she turned eighteen. The contract left her barely enough to live and eat for the first few years. In time, she made a name for herself and won several high-profile bouts.

Pacifica

Her success drew the attention of someone in Pacifica, who bought out her contract. The next day she was aboard a transport to Night City. She arrived by boat at the docks of Pacifica.
